Abdominal Pain (Part 1)

Pain in the abdomen should not be a normal part of a woman’s life. When you begin to feel pains, it is a sign that something is wrong somewhere. It is, therefore, necessary to seek health care before it is too late. The kind of pain you are feeling might be a clue to what is actually happening to you. Three types of pain will be discussed in this write-up. When you feel severe and unusual pain in the lower part of your abdomen during monthly bleeding or after monthly bleeding was missed it could be a sign of ectopic pregnancy or pregnancy in the tube. When you have ongoing pain in the lower part of your abdomen or below your navel during monthly bleeding it may be caused by fibroids.  When you have cramps during monthly bleeding it may be caused by normal squeezing of the womb.  During menstruation, the womb squeezes to push the lining out which normally causes abdominal cramps.
